Ground House is for people who feel drawn to God but don't fit the typical mould of organised religion. We create embodied, grounded experiences, gatherings, practices, and community where you can encounter something real, on your own terms.
"It is safe to
exist here."
Ground House Collective
This is not another wellness experience
you forget by Wednesday.
Transformation through embodied integration.
We give you practices and tools you can use with others, or on your own, that help you deepen your spiritual relationship with God in a way that feels real and meaningful to you. Ground House is built for people who are spiritually hungry and want to experience what God feels like in their body, their relationships, and the way they move through the world.
Warm but structured · Spiritual but embodied
Soft but grounded · Safe but strong
Rev 3:20 · Matt 7:7
When you arrive at a house, the first thing you do is knock. This series is where it begins: an introduction to the concept of yourself as a spiritual house, the beginning of curiously inviting your body into that experience, and the safety of a space to do so without feeling judged. Here we explore, we play, we ask questions, and we include everyone, no matter where they are on their spiritual journey.
Presence
Meditation and stillness. Learning to knock, to listen, and to cultivate presence. The practice of being here.
Curiosity
Moving inward with questions and exploration. Honest connection with yourself, with community, with something greater.
Movement
Embodied expression. Knocking on the door opens into you into the fullness of play.
You're high-functioning but feeling hollow
Everything looks fine on the outside. But you know something is off - and you've known it for a while. You need grounding. You need transformation.
You're craving connection with like minded people
Religious, therapeutic, cultural systems don't always feel like home. You're building a new one and you need people doing the same.
You want community that goes deeper than small talk
You're tired of surface-level connection. You want people who are willing to be honest - and who make you feel less alone in the work.
You're spiritually curious but not religious
You feel something. You don't always know what to call it. Ground House doesn't require you to name it before you walk through the door.
You're wanting to creatively connect with your body
You may have tried embodiment classes, and it feels like something is missing, yet you go to church and feel you are disconnected. Here we meet you in the middle, and we invite in your body, your relationships, your experience of God.
You want to integrate your masculine and feminine
Structure and softness. Clarity and depth. Action and stillness. Ground House holds both - and so do you.
Ground House is built around the metaphor of a home. Each room holds a different dimension of your inner life - practices, tools, and community for every part of who you are.
Everything else rests here. Here you will build your personal relationship to God, and this becomes the foundation for becoming embodied and grounded - from the inside out.
Where you become still enough to hear. This is the place where you dive into your creative self. Here you go within in a creative, spiritual, deeply personal way.
The tools to understand yourself better. Nervous system education, resources, coaching, courses.
Where clarity becomes action. Here you take action, set goals, make plans, implementing things that align to your values. Living as your word. Choosing from groundedness, not fear.
The heart of the house. Where people gather and remember they were never meant to do this alone.
Freedom without agenda. Hiking, music, dance. Your body remembering what joy feels like.
Spaces where people come to steady themselves. Our gatherings are run by qualified coaches and facilitators, and so every event ends with something practical - a breath, a question, a tool you can use in real life.

Ground House is built on a simple metaphor: every person carries a house within them. Each room holds a different dimension of who you are - your spirit, your mind, your body, your relationships, your work, your joy. The work of Ground House is helping you experience and wholesomely inhabit all of it.
"How do I live fully aligned - without abandoning my body, my humanity, or my truth?"
Ground House helps you answer that question - with a window into spiritual teachings, tools, practices, and a community of people doing the same honest work.
God-centred · Open to all · Non-performative
Warm but structured · Spiritual but embodied
Everything rests here. The Foundation is where everything else unfolds. It is your spiritual foundation. Nervous system safety, spiritual grounding, and grounded embodiment as a rythym of life.
The place where you become still enough to hear - something other than the noise. Through music, creative expression, and honest listening, you learn to recognise the voice within and the guidance available when you get quiet enough.
Self-understanding as a practice. The Library is where you build the knowledge that helps you make sense of yourself - your nervous system, your patterns, your history, the parts of you still running old stories. Education that honours the whole person.
Where clarity becomes action. The Office is for the practical, grounded work of living as your word - decision-making from regulation rather than fear, boundaries that come from values rather than exhaustion, and goals that don't require you to abandon yourself to reach them.
The heart of the house. The Kitchen is where nourishment flows - where people gather, share honestly, and co-regulate simply by being present with one another. We were never designed to do this work alone. The Kitchen remembers that.
Freedom without agenda. The Garden is the non-thinking space - where your body remembers what joy feels like before it became something you had to earn. Hiking, music evenings, dance, creative jams. Joy is not a reward, it is a practice.
Rooted in something greater
God-centred, not doctrine-driven. The spirit as foundation - experiential, alive, and yours to discover.
Integration over performance
We are not here to perform transformation. We are here to actually do the work, slowly and honestly.
Radically inclusive
All are welcome here. This is a space of curiosity and safety - never of judgment or compliance.
Playfulness and joy
Joy is not frivolous. It is evidence that something true is happening. The Garden exists for this reason.
Integrity over image
Be honest. Show up. Do the work. Be what you say you are.
Embodied truth
If the body cannot stand with it, the mind is not ready for it. We honour the nervous system always.
It started as a question, and a home that needed to be built from the inside out.
Ground House began with Kirsten in 2022, when a question sat on her heart: "God, I have so much joy, I just don't know what to do with it - please show me." Having worked as a coach for several years, she sensed that something wanted to be birthed in answer: How do you hold God, your body, your mind, and your real human life in the same space, without one of them betraying the others?
Kirsten's work has always sat at the intersection of the spiritual and the psychological. Trained in nervous-system-informed coaching, and shaped by years of personal and professional experience in spiritual formation, she noticed how society tends to separate the individual into parts - mind, body, creative self, spirit - so that we only ever tend to one at a time. Inspired by 1 Peter 2:4-5, she began to imagine a home instead: something she'd felt the absence of in her own life, and sensed in the lives of others too. So she built a framework that refused to separate what most spaces keep in different rooms - faith, embodiment, psychology, community, and joy.
That framework became Ground House. The rooms. The foundation. A home you can return to when life gets loud.
What drives Kirsten is simple: she wants people to have what she had to find the hard way - the tools, the practices, the experience of being steady inside a world that keeps moving. And people to do it with, bound by a shared desire to hold it all from a spiritual place. Her prayers turned toward finding someone who shared that vision and could help build it. That's when God brought Sabrina into her life. Ground House is her answer to everyone who's ever felt like they were doing this alone.
Sabrina came to Ground House the way the right people always do, not because she was recruited, but because something in the vision recognised something in her.
She had been working on her own vision for Christian-rooted embodiment, spaces where faith and the body could finally stop arguing with each other. Where movement, dance, and breath could be acts of spiritual practice rather than just fitness. When she encountered Ground House, she didn't find a business to join, she found the home her own work had been pointing toward.
At the heart of Sabrina's work is a deep belief that joy, movement, and God belong together. Through dance and embodied practices, she creates spaces where playfulness becomes sacred, where people can encounter themselves and hopefully the presence of God.
Alongside this, Sabrina brings her professional background in marketing and brand development to help shape how Ground House communicates with the world. She helps craft the visual language, voice, and experience of encountering the brand, ensuring that what people see on the outside reflects the depth and integrity of what happens within.
She is proof of something Ground House stands for, that when you do your own inner work honestly, you find your people, and you find your place.
Through dance and embodied practices, she creates spaces where playfulness becomes sacred, where people can encounter themselves and hopefully the presence of God.
Ground House is built on the same values it teaches - consistency, accountability, honest communication, and the courage to do things the way you teach them. Kirsten and Sabrina are not just building a brand, they are living proof that the work is real.
Spaces where people come to steady themselves. Every gathering ends with a tool - something practical you can use this week. Online, Cape Town, and surrounds.
